The place was a Gem
★★★★★ Wonderful Hospitality in a Peaceful Albanian Village! We are a Canadian couple travelling the world by motorcycle. With cold and rainy weather approaching, we took shelter at Rosemary Guesthouse, and what a wonderful experience it was! Located in a quiet village surrounded by mountains, the guesthouse offers fresh air, beautiful nighttime views of distant city lights, and a lovely porch covered with old grapevines, persimmons, and pomegranates. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen, oven, dishes, pots, and pans. There’s a hot shower, warm blankets, and a selection of pillows for a comfortable night’s sleep. Secure parking for our motorcycle was also provided. What makes this place truly special is the genuine hospitality of Eli and Gjika, a lovely senior couple. Eli constantly surprised us with treats and even moved our hanging clothes under the roof when it started raining. Their two adorable cats, Grizula and Acrobat, added to the charm. Grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches are just a few kilometres away. Our stay was short but unforgettable. After travelling through many countries, we’ve learned that it’s often the wonderful people we meet who make a place special. Highly recommended! Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch wenn es sprachlich etwas schwierig war... Schöne Unterkunft, tolle Strände in wenigen Fahrminuten zu erreichen.

Struttura a circa 20 minuti dal caos di Saranda, molto semplice e pulita con un terrazzino bellissimo con vista. Gestori gentili e premurosi non parlano inglese ma siamo riusciti a capirci comunque. A piedi possibile raggiungere una taverna dove si può mangiare buon cibo locale.
