A wonderful long weekend
We absolutely loved our stay at Rosslyn Court - Morag and her husband Chris were so friendly and welcoming, and gave us lots of tips for the local area. Our room was lovely and cosy and breakfast was delicious (especially the warm croissants every morning!) Our baby daughter really enjoyed meeting the tortoises, and we massively appreciate everything Morag did to make our first little holiday with her a smooth and fun break.

Delightful, folky, full of surprises
The hosts are really lovely and have lots of tips for exploring Margate. The venue has regular folk gigs and a sea shanty night which we were lucky enough to catch the evening we arrived. Queer/LGBT+ friendly and safe. We had a nice big room with a comfy bed. Homely, lovely garden and breakfast area. Great breakfast - Homemade bread is delicious (gluten free alternatives available too).
It's a beautiful older building, make sure you double check with the hosts how to get the shower working properly. It's fine once you know! Softened water, good for your hair.

Very pleasant stay in a comfortable room with lovely hosts.
The landlady and the landlord were very welcoming, lovely and friendly. They provided very detailed information about the surrounding area (i.e. what to do, where to eat). The room was very comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent. Quiet area.
The shower didn't have much pressure to it and it took a few goes to set the right temperature.

Wonderful hosts and a wonderful house.
What a gem of a find. We booked on booking.com based on location and price, and the reviews. We got so much more. What a beautifully renovated old building. So comfortable from the minute we arrived. Our twin room was perfect. Comfortable beds. Ceiling fan. En suite shower room. Tea etc in the room. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast in the kitchen was fabulous and so was the conversation from local places to go to music history. And totally inclusive. 15 minute walk down to the main seafront area. Will definitely stay again.
