    An elegant and cozy Lake District hotel providing the perfect start and finish to your day.

    I've stayed three times over the past few years. This is a beautiful hotel in a very central location, elegant, cozy, comfortable, immaculate, tastefully decorated. The breakfasts are wonderful and the evening options are just as good if not better. The bar area has a nice fireplace that is great on cold rainy afternoons and evenings. It's a great home base for all points in the Lake District, also easily walkable to anywhere in Ambleside and Rydal. The staff is exceptional and polite, with attention to the specific details of the guests.

    Not much, but maybe more evening food options on the more casual bar menu (which is different from the upscale main restaurant menu).

    Lovely romantic break

    We stayed here after our wedding in the Lake District and had a wonderful time. Breakfast is great and staff are so friendly. The bath in the lovely suites is great and the addition of sky tv and ability to cast onto the tv meant we could spend lazy evenings in our room.

    Hospedagem ok, mas nao especial

    Quarto confortavel,silencioso, estacionamento muito bom,

    cafe da manha a la carte muito burocratico, me sentei alguns dias no terraco e so no ultimo dia perguntaram se queria uma almofada. Pouca boa vontade na recepcao para fazer uma reserva de restaurante, achei o servico bem indiferente
