We loved our time in Rotorua, it's such a spectacular place for a family holiday. We loved how the park was out in the country, and was close to the volcanic areas. My children enjoyed going for a nice night walk on our last night and being able to take in the night sky and see all the different colors from the steam across/ up the road from the park.
On the morning of our departure we felt as if though the cleaning staff wanted us to leave earlier than the 10am check out, due to them sitting across from our cabin watching us as we started to pack our car with all of our belongings. We started packing up to leave at 9am, so I was unsure as to why they expected us to be out at that time. This made the end of our experience disappointing and I hope they can improve on this.

Mountain biker haven a stone throw from the park 👌
The grounds are perfect and the trees have an abundance of native birds which sound amazing
The barefoot walk from the hot pools, but well worth it
