  Beautiful apartment and garden, but with some serious maintenance issues

  The apartment is very spacious, with an authentic all-wood feel. The surrounding garden is beautiful and well maintained (tip: look for strawberries). There are nice children facilities outdoors, as well as some games in-house. The location is quiet, accessible, and reasonably close by to the main points of interest of the area.

  First and foremost - the smell. The apartment had an unpleasant, sewage-like, and persistent odor throughout the entire stay. This unpleasant odor welcomed us each time we entered the house, or woke up in the morning. The house' exterior garbage bins were overflowing already from our first day, and weren't emptied during the entirety of our stay. Cleanliness in the apartment was generally ok, but not perfect: some of the kitchen utensils weren't really clean, some spots in the bathrooms, used sponge/mat left in kitchen, unaesthetic open/used food ingredients in kitchen drawer. Kitchen utensils and cookware could use some refresh (cutting boards, old plates, scratched pans, ...). Additional power outlets in the kitchen could also be useful (e.g., no outlet for the coffee machine?!). Hot water was running out too quick - already running out at the 3rd bath (we were 4, and had to spread evening showers over several hours). There was no welcome treats, welcome note, nor any written instructions whatsoever - for example, how to use the hot tub or the sauna, where to find firewood, how to light it, etc. Notably, we couldn't get the hot tub to turn on. Admittedly, we didn't try to contact the host regarding any of these issues, but as guests we really do expect these things to "just work" so that we could focus on our vacation plans. This was the most expensive apartment throughout our Czech trip, and we came with high expectations; Unfortunately, our stay turned out to be rather disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this apartment.

  A great apartment in a wonderful Cesky Raj location

  The cabin (roubenka) is wonderful, new and thought of many details, and very spacious. Rooms are big and comfortable, with nice views. The property offers some great options - sauna, hot tub and barbecue zone. We only rented one apartment out of the two adjacent apartments, but this property would be perfect for two families occuping the entire property. Location relative to Cesky Raj seems PERFECT ! Very close to Troskamy, Hruba Skala and not far from Prachov. The cabin itself is located along a lovely narrow road (with a private parking - which is a must for this road...), and the overall feel is calm and serene. Over all stay was enjoyable, and we reccomend this lovely place !

  Regarding kitchenware - it could be a little better equipped, for better cooking our meals (kitchen itself is very good), yet whatever we lacked the owner supplied the same day upon our request. At first it felt communicating via Booking messenger didn't work well (instructions toward arrival, etc.) - but every *Email* message we sent was responded quite immediately and to our staisfaction. Hot tub was operated and re-filled with new water only the day before our check-out, so we didn't have the chance to enjoy it in the cool evenings (it looks great).

  היה מעט ריח לא טוב בכניסה (נראה שמהביוב של השירותים בכניסה) אין מקלחון ורק אמבטיה ללא וילון ללא אפשרות למקלחת בעמידה בלי להרטיב הכל.

  Great place. Highly recommended. The house is clean and tidy and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Beautiful and quiet place.

  Great place to stay

  High quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely gardens and peaceful. Very clean. Great extra such as the sauna and hot tub, although we didn’t use them.

  Car needed as nowhere to walk too.
