Sehr schönes Haus in guter Lage. Hübsches Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick.
Das typisch warme English Breakfast war gut und es gab Auswahl. Beim "kalten Buffet" würde nicht viel angeboten. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir Porridge, Honig, und Naturjoghurt. Ich finde es nicht so schön, wenn man nach (für mich) Basics fragen muss. Die Betten waren wohl neu, aber mir zu weich. Außerdem fühlten sie sich auch nicht wirklich neu an, da einige Stellen sich anfühlten, als käme eine Feder durch. Was mich aber wirklich gestört hat, waren die schwarzen und grauen Stellen in der Rinne an der Tür der Dusche. Ich fand es eklig. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt, dass die Zimmer nur gereinigt werden, wenn die Gäste wechseln. Okay, kann man machen, aber dann sollte ich auch ein sauberes Bad vorfinden. Aufgrund der Größe des Badezimmers, sollte es bei acht Nächten Aufenthalt zwischendurch geputzt werden. Und zwar ohne Aufforderung. Ich stimme völlig zu, dass es nicht jeden Tag Zimmerservice geben muss, aber in acht Tagen keinen bzw. nur auf Nachfrage finde ich nicht gut. Im Urlaub möchte ich mich entspannen und nicht darum kümmern, dass mein Zimmer gereinigt wird. Aus anderen Bewertungen weiss ich, dass Sarah und Paul versichern, daß alles perfekt ist und eigentlich der Gast daran Schuld ist, weil er nichts gesagt hat. Wie gesagt, es gibt Dinge, die man nicht erst sagen müssen sollte. Dazu gehört insbesondere ein hygienisch sauberes Bad.

Lovely breakfast, pleasant hosts, great location and excellent value
The parking isn't always available There was a light on the mirror in the room which couldn't be switched off, it lit up the room all night

Friendly owners, great room, right next to beach
Lovely friendly owners Room was cool even in heatwave had plenty of room, tea and coffee and water bottles available Great breakfast 2mins walk to lovely beach for a swim Would recommend
The road to it is tight, but I'm a nervous driver. Just be aware of it, but I'd still recommend this accommodation
