    Room had a weird smell and seemed to need airing.Hotel feels dated.

    Overall we’re nice and friendly

    Room floor not level having a step in the room. Shower cubicle grout many colours.

    Enjoyed my stay, particularly the Porthmadog to Caernarfon steam railway.

    Food was good!

    Smoking area (between hotel & garage) covered in bird droppings. A few minutes with a pressure washer would fix this. First night dinner, only 4 tables in use. Why did the staff direct diners to distant corners of room? Very anti-social!
