    You’re missing out if you don’t stay here.

    The Royen family home is an absolutely beautiful traditional family compound. I can’t think of any other way to be totally immersed into the Balinese culture than staying with this super friendly family. They have two very large separate guest houses with private baths and are building a gorgeous villa and restaurant. Their home is located within an area with a lot of artists. More artists than we’ve seen anywhere else in Bali. The whole family speaks perfect English and were so gracious and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them in their beautiful garden. I’m gonna miss them all.

    I honestly can’t think of one thing I didn’t like about the property.

    Everything was better than I expected and the whole stay was a wonderful stay

    I loved everything about my stay. The hosts Maddy and Royen were delightful, helpful and always available if anything was required. I liked the location which was 5 minutes on scooter drive from where I was doing a retreat for one month and only 20 minutes form Ubud if I needed more action. The room was great and roomy, breakfast delicious and the family vibe of the Royen family was special. It was a homestay, but I had plenty of privacy as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly authentic homestay. I will be back again
