Overall, we had a great stay. Recommend for small families planning to do lots of sight-seeing.
The location is perfect if you are exploring the historical places and Jonker Walk. It is also close to malls. I like that it is within walking distance to these places so if you don’t have a car, this is the perfect place. While the room is a little small, it works perfectly if you plan to be out most of the time. We experienced the hospitality of this inn even before we arrived when they were honest about a potential electricity interruption and timely response to my messages. The breakfast is an added bonus because we don’t have to worry about finding a breakfast place and can start our day early. It is simple Msian breakfast but fits its purpose perfectly. The staff that helps out for breakfast are also very friendly. I also like that they have a water dispenser, which works great if you have young kids. We did not have to purchase a single bottled water at all this trip.
The only downside is if you plan to swim, the pool is not the cleanest and definitely not kid friendly. It worked for us because the kids just wanted to cool down after a long hot day but I wouldn’t plan on spending too much pool time here. I also noticed that they have waste separation system in place at their breakfast area. But waste segregation was not really implemented. They couldn’t definitely improve the sustainability if they can implement it.
