    Great place for an Elie weekend

    Location, rooms, comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, great communications with local company.

    Room and water heating could have been warmer and more controllable. I do realise that this is an old property and this could be difficult.

    The location was excellent

    The service was very bad because they didn’t have our booking We weren’t given the key code until the day before and that was only because i contacted the company. No one came to check anything. No instructions. No welcome pack. Windows painted shut. No garden furniture for the beautiful view Day of arrival could not contact company to find out how to use kitchen equipment. The large aga style cooker had its electrical panel taken away. The kitchen was well equipped but no instructions. It’s obvious that we were not booked in. I paid £2000 for 3 nights and it was taken from my account 4 weeks before arrrival !!! It was very disappointing to have a lovely property and such poor service that did not reflect the high cost. I was told we would get no compensation

    Had an amazing stay enjoying Elie and celebrating with friends.

    Location was amazing. Views across the bay were beautiful and superb access to the beach.

    The house had everything we needed. A later checkout for the price would have been good.
