Teleurstellend
Het is vlak bij het Quilotoa meer.
Na enkele weken reizen door Ecuador is dit verblijf het meest teleurstellend. Het personeel was afstandelijk (misschien door de taalbarrières) en voelde ons niet welkom. Er is geen gratis water of koffie ter beschikking (jammer als je lang gewandeld hebt) het ontbijt was niet inbegrepen terwijl de prijs voor de kamer veel te veel was. Er was geen gezellige of aangename sfeer. Gelukkig hadden we een fijne groep mede reizigers. We vroegen hen een taxi te regelen naar ons hotel in latacunga. De taxi chauffeur bracht ons niet naar ons hotel maar naar een random plaats in een gevaarlijke buurt. Hij vertelde dat hij het centrum niet in kan met zijn auto. Heel jammer want het was een dure rit. Ook jammer dat 1 persoon geen gordel kon dragen. Ik verwacht dat als je bij een hotel een taxi regelt dat het op zijn minst in orde is.

We stayed here after hiking the Quilotoa trek and the hosts were very nice, they made us hot tea when we arrived and lit a fire in our room (it’s very cold in Quilotoa at night). They offer breakfast and dinner at an extra fee and it’s only five minutes walk to the bus stop

Établissement correspondant à la description. Lit confortable, chambre réchauffée par un poêle qui rend l'endroit atypique et permet de passer une excellente nuit. Personnel sympathique et très à l'écoute. Très bien situé, à proximité de la lagune, des boutiques et restaurants. Bon petit déjeuner. Petite remarque : il manque un sèche cheveux, une étagère dans la chambre mais ceci ne nous a pas empêché de passer un bon séjour.
