    Ask the host if the place has been de-bugged.

    Beautiful view.

    I got stung by a swarm of yellow jackets when I tried to sit on the porch. It happened within 30 minutes of arrival so it impacted my whole trip. I found it difficult to contact the host afterwards.

    Love the place but need to get uptodate on pestcontrol

    Very cute place , but bus everywher. Iniside and out.

    Bugs inside the house and no seating around the fire pit. Bugs and moths followed cell phones. My wife got bitten by a yellow jack nest.

    Rustic and relaxing! Easy drive to Boone and West Jefferson.

    We loved the remote location and the cottage was cozy. The beds are small but comfortable and it was a perfect size cottage for 4 people. The host was great and communicated well with us. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed relaxing in the cottage!

    The cottage is rustic and we were prepared for that. However, it could use a little more deep cleaning and supplies such as trash bags, dish cloths and kitchen towels.
