  MÄUSE

  Rustikale Ausstattung sonst nichts

  Ganz großes Problem sind Mäuse. Sie laufen in der Unterkunft herum. Das ist ein Gesundheitsrisiko! Wie auch die anderen Bewertungen können wir bestätigen: Das Wasser in der Dusche ist nur eiskalt, das Bett im Zimmer 5 hat mittlerweile nur noch 3 Bretter unter der Matratze und die Löcher im Boden wurden versucht zu verstecken durch einen Teppich. Das Licht hat immer mal wieder geflackert als wir dort waren, wie sich der Strom weiter verhält können wir nicht sagen, da wir vor der Nacht wieder abgefahren sind aufgrund der Mäuse. Die Mikrowelle hat an dem Abend wo wir dort waren ebenfalls nicht funktioniert und das Personal vor Ort war beim Check in erstmal nicht anwesend.

  General state of disrepair

  Location is very remote and scenic. Buildings have 'character'

  General state of disrepair, specifically: Room (#5): - Key was missing at self checkin, promised a quick fix / key that never happened - Light in the entry was missing the pull chain, so could not be used - Window was missing the crank, so could not be used - Mattress was shaped like a taco from significant use - No box spring, just 5 boards under the mattress, one of which was too short and crashed out in the middle of the night General: - None of the showers in the main house had hot water (and no notification prior to arrival regarding) - One of the upper level showers had the controls broken off - Sounds carry through the walls / floor incredibly easily, normal conversations can be readily heard in the adjoining rooms

  Zero star review - horrible - don't make the same mistake we did.

  Nothing at all!

  The pictures are totally false. The lodge and property might have looked this way years ago. The place was falling apart. We pulled up and there was a wrecked car sitting there. There was water gushing over the drive when we pulled in. We were met by a dog that would not let us to the door which was open to the outside. He was growling at us. A lady came out and asked if we needed a reservation. She said she just was asked to come over that day so didn't know what to do. We told her we had a reservation and the room so she took us there. On the way she pointed out that the shared men's restroom was out of order. In the room she hurried up and picked up what looked like possible dirty towels and said sorry. No other towels were there. There were no other guests there. We did not stay because we felt totally unsafe. We messaged the property owner but he would not respond to us. We had to go find another place to stay and now are out this money. We should be refunded since this was false advertising and was not at all what we paid for.
