    Clean comfortable lodge

    Lovely lodge with nice restaurant.

We were carless and at least in October the local nurses sent working so you have to taxi or walk 2 km to the park

Lovely place. Very clean. Rustic as described. Great new bathroom. Good heating which was good as it was quite cold. Really yummy evening meal in the bistro.

Nothing really. The only thing to be aware of is if you are travelling by bus to plitvice that you will need to get a taxi to hotel from bus stop at national park emtrance. And from hotel back to national park entrances if you are visiting the lakes. It's about 5km away. The are taxis available and they will call them for you. It was perfectly fine and manageable.

We would highly recommend The Rustic Lodge.

The location, food, service, and accommodations were great!

It could use a hot tub for those sore legs after the Plitvice Lakes hike and chilly nights.
