  Had a good stay here. The unit was clean and tidy, and the sea view was really nice, especially in the morning. Check-in was straightforward — just transfer the RM100 deposit and provide IC for verification before arrival. Instructions were easy to follow, and check-out was simple too. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

  Highly recommended

  Nice sea view and the unit was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy, just bank in the RM100 deposit and send IC for identification before arrival. The instructions were clear and the whole check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a nice stay and everything was quite convenient.

  Lokasi bagus dekat jeti, tapi pengurusan sangat teruk, menelan deposit customer tanpa resit rasmi.

  Lokasi dekat sangat dengan Jetty Lumut, memang senang dan sepadan kalau sesiapa nak seberang pergi ke Pulau Pangkor. Bilik pun luas, okay la untuk short stay.

  Tajuk: Pengurusan homestay sangat teruk: Ugut customer, tak ada service, dan telan deposit RM100 sesuka hati tanpa resit rasmi.Pros: Tak ada.Cons:Ugut Customer Penuh Kurang Ajar: Kami lambat check-in sebab kereta rosak tengah jalan (ada bukti tow truck insuran rasmi). Walaupun bilik dah bayar 100% full payment siap bagi deposit, staff dorang boleh pulak cakap kasar dan ugut nak sewa bilik kat orang lain sebab dah lepas pukul 11 malam. Ini sangat tak adil untuk customer yang dah bayar habis!Tak Ada Service Langsung (Zero Service): Masa sampai, Wi-Fi langsung tak boleh jumpa. Paling geram, masa kunci dah herot sebab tombol pintu dorang yang ketat sangat dan tersangkut, kami call pukul 11:38 malam minta tolong tapi haram seorang pun tak angkat. Bila customer ada masalah, dorang hilangkan diri.Main "Silent Treatment" & Telan Deposit: Kita faham, kalau ada barang rosak memang kena ganti, benda ni adil. Tapi patutnya bincang cara elok, telus dan jujur. Ini tidak, dorang sengaja buat bodoh dan "silent treatment" beberapa hari langsung tak balas mesej. Bila kita dah report Booking.com dan desak banyak kali, barulah dorang sesuka hati buat keputusan "one-shot" nak potong terus full RM100 deposit tanpa bagi sebarang resit rasmi atau invoice daripada tukang kunci (locksmith).Ini bukan cara settle masalah yang profesional, ini cara "barbaric" (ganas) nak pow duit customer. Pengurusan Jomy Homestay ni memang tak ada etika business langsung. Orang tempatan atau pelancong lain, tolong berhati-hati dengan keselamatan duit korang kalau nak book kat sini. Kes ni dah report penuh kat compliance Booking.com.

  Spacious stay but beware of the hidden charges by property owner

  The property is spacious

  There is hidden cost of cleaning RM50, which is not added to the total cost of rental in rates shown in property.com, neither is it shown on t&c or it is under one of the hidden sub clauses. In addition to the hidden fee, property also charge deposit of RM100 before u can check in. The deposit is not automatically refunded to me until I follow up after a week (was on holiday & on the road and has no time to follow up on admin). I can’t help but to think such practices are tactics used by property for additional revenue. If I would know of the hidden clause, I would have book with another properties at D’ocean instead. I consider myself a fairly well traveller, such practices of hidden cleaning fee & deposit is rare in booking.com. I have also wrote in to booking.com to scrutinise the vendor’s practices more, to upkeep to the good standard of booking platform in the past! Other that honesty issue, property has minor flaw though not impacting the stay - collapsed wooden sink in toilet, loose switch.
