    A gem on the journey!

    Our hosts Ned and Steph we’re absolutely incredible! Kind and hospitable and intentional. We loved our stay with them it was one of our favorites on our walk from Melrose to Holy Island! Rutherford House is a gem that is comfortable and welcoming.

    We recieved a warm welcome. On our journey this is the first accommodation supplying cake. The room was large, offering games and books as there is no TV, not thats a negative, but to ensure a relaxed surroundings. In the village there is a lovely pub and two well stocked shops with most thins any walker needs.

    Im struggling to find anything bad to say. If being very picky, the shower cubicle could be larger.
