    Such an authentic Japanese experience, we loved it all.

    Welcoming staff, welcome tea, monkeys out our window, the onsen experience was authentic, dinner was the most exotic culinary experience we’ve ever had, the small village was charming, parking was not far away at the public lot.

    Interesting stay in an onsen.

    A lovely hotel with indoor and outdoor onsens (hot baths). Very nice staff and an amazing dinner with a seemingly endless array of food.

    The pillows filled with rice have to go. Seriously. The hotel should at least make soft pillows available for guests who want them. Trying to sleep on a hard bag full of rice is like, well, trying to sleep on a hard bag filled with rice.

    Good location for hiking with bus stop right outside.

    Cute authentic property in historic onsen village. Nice onsen within the property.
