Een heel unieke plek om te slapen
De host was een enorm aardige man. Hij is erg trots op zijn verblijf en deed enorm zijn best voor ons. Hij kwam ons ophalen vanaf de parkeergarage. De ruimte is een echte grot die hij heeft voorzien van alle comfort. Het is een feestje om om rond te kijken in het verblijf. Alles is een beetje gek, maar daardoor erg leuk. de bedden zijn prima en je bevind je middenin de oude Sassi. Dus vanuit je verblijf sta je direct middenin alles waarvoor je komt
Verwacht geen goed uitzicht. je slaapt in een verbouwde grot. Het enige daglicht komt door het raam van de toegangsdeur. Ons heeft het niet gestoord.

This was a great find, and excellent location and amazingly unique cave accomodation.
The location was great , in the old town, just up from the piazza where you could book a tuk tuk for a tour or catch the bus up the hill to the new town. Not so far up that it was a big walk up and down. There were many fabulous trattorias, bars and excellent up market restaurant on the corner of the piazza.

La struttura è spaziosa, accogliente e inserita in quell'unicum paesaggistico che sono i sassi di Matera. La disponibilità di Stefano (il proprietario) è stata encomiabile; non avremmo potuto davvero fare senza. Per la cultura personale e la passione per la sua Matera (bellezza sassosa che va a braccetto con la storia stratificata), per l'accoglienza che va oltre la mera recettivitá, Stefano attualizza un Umanesimo di altri tempi. Ci porteremo a lungo nel cuore questa esperienza

An excellent choice for accommodation at Matera. Lovely place!
My host, Stefano, was exceedingly kind and helpful.
...that I did not have more time to stay another day or two.
