was a fine place to spend a few days birding in a remote valley but a longer stay would not
Food served was excellent though not by menu. they did ask if the planned dinner was ok with us.
the grounds are lush, especially for birding, but there were pathway lights and other elements that need replacing as they were either non-functional or they were not on timers that would automatically turn on. their advertisement video speaks to multiple chalets, and other features that we just did not find on the grounds unless they are very remote from the other and restaurant patio.

The site is run by a family, and Sol was incredibly attentive to what we needed. She double checked the meals and ingredients since we have dietary restrictions. Throughout our entire stay she was considerate and helpful offering us things to make the stay more enjoyable without us even having to ask. Each individual cabin is tucked away so there was plenty of privacy. We fell asleep to nothing but the sound of nature. It was incredibly peaceful and ai highly recommend it as your first choice for staying in Mindo! *The highlight was receiving a surprise escort to dinner by four of the horses that live on the property. They were gentle and just wanted to come say hello. Also, setting up a ride from the stay into town was very easy and the staff is also more than happy to schedule it for you. Don’t hesitate, just book it. It was our favorite place we stayed in all of Ecuador!

Great place to stay in Mindo.
Tony, the administrator was awesome. The cabin was great. The location is fantastic. We had a lot of fun.
