    The apartment wasn't cleaned when we arrived. The landlord blamed it on the cleaning company's error and contacted them, after which a cleaning lady arrived about 40 minutes later and cleaned the apartment. We'd made a reservation two days before arrival, which gave us plenty of time to clean, but no one apologized. The second surprise was the lack of cold water in the apartment. The landlord blamed it on some kind of system issue and said no one would fix it until Monday. He offered to cancel the reservation without penalty so we could find another place to stay! He didn't offer any compensation. Just cancel and go look for another place ourselves at 9 pm. I can add that our relatives rented an apartment in the building next door, and everything was fine with them. The bed linen is synthetic, they don't have any natural ones, the refrigerator is in terrible condition, the shower drain is clogged and takes a long time to drain, and there's no shower gel or shampoo at all. To summarize, if the owner had simply offered some kind of compensation, it would have been some kind of mutual understanding. It's not about the amount of money, but about the willingness to help. That wasn't the case. I paid 240 euros for two nights. Thank you.

    Als we weer een keer naar Maagdenburg dan zou ik dit appartement zo weer boeken.

    Sehr gute Ausgangsbasis um Magdeburg zu entdecken

    Moderne, komfortable Wohnung nahe dem Stadtzentrum (5-10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Straßenbahn und dann nochmal 10-15 Minuten bis in die Stadt). Ruhige ehemalige Industrie-Gegend, in der gerade ziemlich viel modernisiert wird - noch nicht unbedingt schön, aber sehr eindrucksvolle ehemalige Fabrikatmosphäre rundherum. Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoß und ist deshalb etwas dunkel, was uns aber für den 3-Tagestrip nach Magdeburg (unbedingt eine Reise wert) überhaupt nichts ausgemacht hat.

    Es war sehr gemütlich dort, die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet!

    Die Messer schneiden nicht mehr so gut, aber das heißt das alle gerne in der Küche gekocht haben!
