The management and staff of the hotel is very friendly and professional. The food was of a high quality and well presented. The game drives were excellent, we saw cheetah cubs and wild dogs. The kids enjoyed the quad bikes at Mabula. The facility is modern and clean. Everything was very good.

Superbe accueil, superbe pension complète, superbes safaris, superbes surprises - franchement le rapport qualité prix est top !!!
un mini bémol : le bruit de la clim réversible la nuit mais c'est vraiment pas grand chose à coté de tout le positif de ce Lodge !

We love Safari Plains for a family breakaway. It is child friendly and they feel so at home.
Location is perfect for a quick weekend away from Pretoria or Johannesburg. Currently there are roadworks which slow down the trip, but looking forward, it will be a lot easier to get there. There is a selection for the hot breakfast and a lovely selection of fruits, pastries etc to go with it.
The fact that the weekend was too short.

Ein außergewöhnliches Safari-Erlebnis
Safari Plains war der perfekte Abschluss unserer Südafrika-Reise und hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Die gesamte Lodge ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und verbindet stilvolle Ausstattung mit einer authentischen Safari-Atmosphäre. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat, waren der außergewöhnliche Service und die Aufmerksamkeit für jedes noch so kleine Detail. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service auf einem Niveau, das die fünf Sterne absolut verdient. Es wurde wirklich alles dafür getan, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen. Auch die Game Drives waren ein absolutes Highlight. Die erfahrenen Guides haben uns mit ihrem Wissen, ihrer Leidenschaft und ihrem Gespür für die Tiere beeindruckt. Jede Fahrt war anders und ein echtes Erlebnis. Wir waren während des südafrikanischen Winters dort und gerade hier zeigt sich, wie durchdacht das gesamte Konzept ist: Eine beheizte Matratze im Bett, Wärmflaschen für den kalten Morning Drive und viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten machten den Aufenthalt trotz der niedrigen Temperaturen unglaublich angenehm. Man bekommt hier tatsächlich ein echtes Rundum-sorglos-Paket. Safari Plains eignet sich damit hervorragend als besonderer Start oder krönender Abschluss einer Südafrika-Reise. Allerdings gilt: Ein Tag ist definitiv nicht genug! Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben, denn die Kombination aus Natur, Safari, Komfort und außergewöhnlicher Gastfreundschaft ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein hochwertiges und gleichzeitig authentisches Safari-Erlebnis suchen.
Wir hätten einfach länger bleiben sollen.
