  Highly Disappointing - Misleading Pictures and Poor Maintenance

  Our experience at Asanja Titaly was completely underwhelming and fell far short of what is advertised online. While the property has a unique, aesthetic structure reminiscent of a hobbit house, the actual experience was marred by poor maintenance and misleading presentation. The online photos depict a beautifully integrated, natural earth-house concept. In reality, large portions of the unique architectural exterior were completely covered in heavy plastic tarpaulins held down by rocks, obscuring the overall design and ruining the entire aesthetic appeal. There were noticeable leakage issues present throughout both the interiors and exteriors of the property. The heavy reliance on plastic sheet coverings to handle water issues showed a clear lack of proper maintenance and property management. The overall impression was that of an under-construction or neglected site rather than a premium, serene getaway. For the price charged, the level of upkeep and property management is unacceptable. We strongly advise guests to look elsewhere until the management properly addresses the leakage issues and maintains the property as advertised.

  The manager met us after we arrived. The place is located in a remote area so it’s peaceful. The manager didn’t meet us that often during our stay and it was often hard to get a hold of him. The two guys who were assigned to our room Chintu and Sufian were wonderful. Really a godsend. They took very good care of us.

  The place is unnecessarily expensive. We stayed for three days and not even breakfast was included in the price of stay. Since it’s such a remote location besides the plunge pool there is nothing else to do around there. There are no entertainment facilities at the place. The location also does not have a kitchen so we had to tell the manager what we would like to eat 24 hrs before each meal. The food was okay but super expensive. And since there is not many restaurants around the remote area, ordering through the management is the only real option. We stayed in the middle of summer so it was really hot and the electricity was unreliable and the generators did not work a few times. I would not recommend staying at this place for more than a day/night.

  Location, Accessibility and Food.

  Cleanliness. Anti Lizard treatment would make the evenings also worthwhile. 6-8 Lizards in our open Living Room is not acceptable . Similarly. washrooms drainage was pathetic
