Great stay
Great location, awesome food on James street and walking distance to valley music hall.
Shower pressure, directions to parking were very unclear. Google Gorman clothing store fortitude valley, parking is in-between Gorman store and QA hotel. Parking is $40 for 24 hours.

Good location, terrible experience.
Check-in was smooth and I appreciated the staff storing my bags for me. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the location was perfect for what I needed.
The construction noise was ridiculous. Yes, we were warned there would be disruption, but that warning did not come close to reflecting how loud and constant it would be. It seriously affected the entire stay. At check-in, I was told I’d been “upgraded” to a better room because of the construction. Calling it an upgrade was a stretch. The room felt like a dungeon, with barely any natural light and a balcony boxed in by four tall walls that amplified the construction noise. I couldn’t even enjoy sitting outside. Being warned about construction doesn’t make the actual experience any less unacceptable. I travel to Brisbane regularly for work and had planned to stay here multiple times, but this stay has completely put me off. I expected far better and don't believe I'll be returning which is a shame.
