    We enjoyed the spacious living room and kitchen. Karin was vriendly and helpful

    Spacious, well-equiped. Inside braai doubling as fire place.

    Not enough blankets in bedrooms especially on cold nights at Strandfontein. .

    We enjoyed our stay at Saldeseas. The house is comfortable and very clean, the kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and the dishwasher was a bonus. On the first day we were met at the house by the friendly and helpful Karen. She even left us blitz and firewood and checked on us.

    No problems at all.

    Was self-catering. Liked that it was clean and spacious - that's a big plus. There was coffee (but no tea). I wasn't sure whether the tap water was ok to drink - there was a drum with a tap that had some water so we used that, but it wasn't very much. Was glad to see soap and towels.

    I thought the place was rather impersonal - unfortunately there was no view. I'm also wondering why, generally, in other places as well as this one, there is really little by way of a welcome. In 'old days', there would be tea, coffee and sugar, a little box milk in the fridge and a jar of rusks. Also, basic supplies like salt and pepper I assumed would be there. So while there's nothing wrong here, it's not a place I would come back to.
