    I only stayed one night, but I had a very pleasant experience. The owner was extremely kind and sent their father, Vincenzo, who was very welcoming and opened the door for me. The apartment is very spacious, with a huge bedroom, bathroom and living room, and the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. I really appreciated the thoughtful little touches, such as the snacks, as well as having a large bottle of water and a litre of milk waiting for me. I had actually forgotten to buy milk for the next day, so that was especially appreciated! The apartment is also very nicely decorated and very comfortable overall. The location was excellent for me, in front of the port and about a 15–20 minute walk into the centre of Salerno. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Everything was great, and I would happily stay here again.

    The only difficulty I encountered was getting back to the apartment on foot from the centre. Because of the way the streets and SS18 are laid out, I initially thought I could take a more direct route, but I ended up reaching the main road and a roundabout where it was not safe to continue on foot. I had to turn back and take another street, which turned what should have been about a 1 km walk into more than 3 km. This is really a matter of the road layout rather than anything the host could control, but it is worth being aware of if you are walking back from the centre.

    Great spot to pause if you need a place to stay.

    The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The washroom and washer combination was spacious and updated. Great wifi, the owner was reachable and kind enough to let us in earlier. The kitchen was equipped to the necessary items.

    There were quite a few steps to the apartment. The TV in the master bedroom was not a smart TV this upgrade would benefit international visitors with streaming partners. The espresso maker didn’t work well, it barely yielded a cup of espresso. If mobility is an issue the storico centre lungomare was about 15-25 minutes on foot.
