  Plenty of space, close to tourist attractions, Great to have use of washing machine. Top rated Fish & Chip shop next door very handy on night of arrival

  Lovely location, very clean, lots of space, well presented rooms and all amenities available

  There wasn’t anything that we could say we didn’t like - thank you for a great place to stay

  Misleading listing, outdated, poor cleanliness, unresponsive host, and unfair accusations

  Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. We specifically booked this property because it was advertised as dog-friendly and featured a fireplace for a relaxing winter getaway. Don't book this property if you're looking forward to sitting by the advertised fireplace with a glass of wine on a cold winter's night—it doesn't work. I messaged the host before and during our stay regarding the GAS fireplace and received no response. The overall cleanliness and condition of the property were well below expectations. The dishes and utensils were dirty, the used dishwashing sponge was left dirty, the fridge had an unpleasant smell, the washing machine contained built-up dirt and grime, there was mould in the bathroom, spider webs throughout the property, and much of the furniture and appliances were outdated. The bed squeaked excessively and felt like it was on the verge of breaking, making it difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. Despite leaving the property in immaculate condition and even vacuuming before we left as a courtesy, the host later attempted to charge us an additional pet fee and made false allegations that our dogs had been on the bedding and furniture, which is completely untrue. The host also claimed we damaged an old Dyson vacuum that was already heavily worn and barely functional during our stay. Everything in the house is outdated and heavily worn, needing replacement, the host also also tried to charge previous people for false accusations to replace their outdated and worn rug and sofa which already clearly required replacing. Be sure to take photos of the condition when you arrive to avoid this happening to you if you consider booking this place. The lack of communication, misleading advertised amenities, poor cleanliness, outdated condition of the property, and attempts to impose additional charges after our stay made this a very unpleasant experience.

  Had an awesome stay

  We really enjoyed our stay at Salt 112. Awesome back yard for the dog. Beds very comfortable. Loved the tv in each room. 2 toilets a bonus. Had everything we needed. So close to the fish and chip shop just rated Australia’s best take away.
