A beautiful shell with nothing inside
The room was very spacious and clean, and the whole hotel was well maintained. I also really liked the swimming pool, which was great and nicely sheltered from the wind. These were the only good things of my stay.
For the price, I expected a much better beach. Getting into the sea was almost mission impossible without hurting yourself on the rocks, and swimming was practically impossible at low tide. The wind was also relentless. The hotel is located on an exposed part of the east coast, and at times it was so windy that I felt like my head was going to blow off. The food was another major disappointment. I only ate at the hotel restaurant twice, and one of those experiences was paying far too much for an ordinary portion of spaghetti with three prawns. Overall, the food was disappointing and not particularly appealing. The whole hipster style of the hotel simply wasn't for me. It felt like too much effort had gone into creating a certain image, rather than making the actual experience worth the price. Every corner has some carefully curated design detail, and the rooms are full of unnecessary extras, such as a woven beach bag and a yoga mat, which felt more like part of the hotel's image than anything particularly useful. Our favourite hotel
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Full board or all inclusive is well worth doing. Fantastic food and drink options. Would come back in a heartbeat.
Nothing.
