Gem of a find, looking forward to a return visit.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Salt On The Harbour. It can be difficult to envisage the size of the rooms on booking.com or such. We were not disappointed with our room at all. The view of the harbour is spectacular, particularly last thing at night or early morning. Facilities wise, it has everything you'd need. Everything is spotless and nothing looks tired. We were a little confused when the curtains didn't draw all the way across but was soon aparrent they were decorative and the blind provided was more than up to the task, even with bright low sunshine coming in to the room 1st thing. We ate at the restaurant on the evening of our stay and it was nothing short of perfect. Overlooking the harbour, the food was fresh, tasty, well presented and priced accordingly. The staff also throughout our stay were engaging and exellent. Breakfast also was beautiful, again overlooking the harbour made it extra special. Bridlington itself is looking a lot more tired than our last visit, needing a lot of TLC, but I wouldn't hesitate to return to Salt On The Harbour for more of what we experienced there.

The only thing that may benefit from being looked at is the shower as it went from boiling hot to freezing with the slightest touch to the mixer tap, but eventually found a setting which worked well enough.

Great stay at the Salt on the Harbour

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The location is fantastic and the food in the restaurant was amazing. We did have the lobster and it was so good. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Cannot fault anything at all.
