The indoor and outdoor space was amazing. We had 6 children staying in the house and there was plenty of space for them to run around. We had jigsaws, a foosball table and reading books in the house. Hand wash, dishwasher tablets, toilet roll and basic spices and condiments in the kitchen. The games rooms was great, with badminton rackets, a football, pool table, table tennis table and darts board. Having two kitchens with two fridges was also great. The dining table was a great size and could sit down 10 of us easily.
I would say all the bathrooms were quite worn and dated. Some black mould in the shower cubicle. Toilet seats moved about or didn't open fully. The water temperature on the showers was very difficult to set, the knobs were very stiff. The top floor bathroom didn't have any shower facilities over the bath tub which was a shame. The kitchen appliances were also in need of an upgrade. It took me 30 minutes to cook fish fingers in the oven. The microwave was tiny and looked quite old. The dishwasher didn't have instructions so we could only set it on a 3 hours plus cycle which wasn't always practical when needing clean plates between meal times. Would have been nice to have another dishwasher in the second kitchen. Some of the kitchen utensils were broken, the tongs didn't work properly. A plastic jug was cracked and leaked water. On one evening someone came onto the property and let some sheep into the front garden. It would have been nice if someone had let us know as a courtesy. Especially with having young children out and about playing.
