  Zanzibar Sandbank Villa

  Me and my family enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa, just a two minute walk from the beach. The villa was spacious, clean and fulfilled all our needs. Highlights included the pool, rooftop and chefs coming in the morning to make a beautiful breakfast spred. We were able to choose from a menu in advance and every thing was cooked fresh in our kitchen. The cleaners also came on a daily basis- maintaining the area and cleaning the pool. The area had top tier security making you feel safe at all times. Me and my family enjoyed the staying on the nearby beach and speaking to the friendly locals. There were also many restaurants to eat at on the beach (but with high prices).

  The location of the villa was far from local amenities. There were not any local shops to go to for groceries etc. In order to get to the beach you had to walk down a steep hill which may be difficult for elderly or less able people. The sockets in the wall were the European type, so be sure to bring the UK type. The villa featured an iron, however there was no iron board.

  Very pleasant stay

  We were very spoilt. A chef and his helper came in every day to make breakfast for our group. A cleaning lady came in every day and also a pool cleaner. The Villa is in close proximity to the beach and the slight incline did not bother us at all. Kiwenga Beach is beautiful and there are enough beach bar type restaurants available. Music from the restaurant next door is audible however they play pleasant, mellow type music which we did enjoy. The well kitted out Villa itself has a lovely pool area; the chlorine is a bit heavy and tends to burn your eyes. The views from upstairs are fantastic. Sulemain was very helpful.

  The villa could do with a bit of maintenance and a coat of paint in areas. The jacuzzi was not working.

  Nice villa. Fun pool. Close to a nice beach. Suleiman is very friendly and always available. Amazing location.

  We did not like the breakfast concept of having a private chef. They spent 2h a day in the morning cooking. We prefer privacy and spending time as a family alone. The jacuzzi could not be filled with hot water and the bubbles did not work. We also could not scoop the insects out of the pool because there was no equipment. There is also never silence since there is always very loud music playing from early morning to late evening at the restaurant right next to the villa.

  A dream vacation in a very nice house. Please be aware that the electricity is shut down a few minutes many times a day

  A villa that has everything you need. A fantastic pool and terrace. Amazing view. Delicios breakfast prepared by private chef. Daily cleaning by competent staff. A facility manager, who responds and helps with all challenges no matter the time of the day. We were 5 adults in this luxurious house that I can only give my finest recommendations. The owner is very helpful and the booking and payment process went smoothly. Not to mention the flexibility upon arrival and departure where we had to made some changes due to flight changes caused by the war in the Middle East.

  We used a lot of money on taxi as there are no nearby stores. We could have used a sun shade or garden umbrella at the terrace as the sun was very strong and not shades. The path to the beach is very steep. The guards were very curios and we often caugth them starring in the terrace.
