Beautiful surroundings, a spotless home and the most peaceful stay!
We stayed overnight at Sandside Retreat and from the moment we walked through the door, it was absolutely amazing. The cleanliness throughout the whole home was 10/10 — absolutely spotless. The extra touch of a basket in the kitchen with essentials and a pack of biscuits was really nice. It had everything you could imagine and felt so welcoming and homely. The property was beautifully presented, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We also loved having the windows open at night, as you could hear the sea which was so peaceful and blissful. It was honestly the perfect way to end the day. We couldn’t fault our stay and would definitely love to come back.

Comfortable and relaxing
The location. Ideal for shops and one minute away from the 101 steps to the shops. Also, the owner was very helpful and available when we needed assistance.

Such a beautiful property with lovely views over the sea and of the steps to the abbey - perfect location for our family! Will 100% recommend to anyone going to whitby!
