Lovely cottage in a good location.
Lovely cosy cottage in a good location to visit friends and enjoy the beach. Easy to gain access and central for shops, bars and restaurants.
No parking at the cottage but available nearby. The double bed mattress was too soft for someone with a bad back. The bottom bunk was very comfortable as an alternative.

Great place, great location
Cottage really comfy and cozy, had everthing you need in the kitchen for self catering. The living room was cozy, especially so when the wood burner was on. The downstairs bedroom was sufficient if the second grown child (19 year old) had come with us then the top bunk would not have been ok. The main bedroom was great, bed comfy (altho we are used to a king size bed so found it snug lol, personal prefrence). Games room on 3rd floor with a day bed was a nice surprise, althogh we did not use it. In great walking distance to beach, which we then could walk to Saltburn or Redcar. Bus routes were fantastic for when we didnt want to drive we could jump on the bus somewhere. Great location to pubs, shops, takeaways and dog cafe which meant we were not restricted with the dog.
The yard at the rear was quite small, didnt realise on booking that the front garden was shared with the other properties. This did not affect our stay there though. We did find that the upstairs toilet did make noise occasionallythrough the night, we did close the doors but then found that it was too warm without a through breeze from having the windows open. Next door dog quite vocal on entering/exiting the property, aso when we used the rear yard, but did not spoil our time there and had some good chats with the neighbours.

Perfect size for what we needed in a great location
Brilliant location
Shared entrance. Our dog kept setting off the next door dog. The lady was lovely about it but I felt guilty
