This apartment exceeded all of our expectations and fully met our needs. It is conveniently located close to the city center, with a supermarket and a bus stop just a short walk away. The host is incredibly kind, generous, and welcoming. We were allowed to check in earlier than scheduled, and because our train departed late in the evening, the host also kindly let us check out much later than usual. If I visit Tbilisi again, I will definitely choose this apartment. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much for everything! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tbilisi. You can book it without any hesitation.

The view from here is, of course, magnificent. The flat is set in a rather old, possibly even historic building, where genuine local Georgians live. Shops are within walking distance, with some tiny little stores literally a couple of steps away. The host is a very responsive young woman, happy to explain everything and help if you ask, and she reacts promptly to any message you send her. That said, there are a few minor shortcomings regarding the furnishings that future guests might want to be aware of. The mattresses are no longer new, so anyone with a bad back may find sleeping on them rather uncomfortable. The wall décor has lost a little of its former appeal. What appears to have once been a meaningful text in dimensional lettering now has letters missing, leaving the installation looking somewhat unkempt. It would be lovely if the wall decorations were refreshed, rather than leaving these fragments as they are. The bathroom presents a situation quite typical for Georgia – something locals are perfectly accustomed to, but not every tourist may be ready for. The toilet is placed very close to the shower, which has no tray, so when you wash the water spreads across the entire small bathroom, covering the toilet cistern. In this particular flat, the floor tiling doesn’t slope quite enough towards the drain, so the water floods the whole room rather than running off straight away – which may not appeal to those with a taste for perfect order. We actually ended up buying a squeegee to gather the water, as one wasn’t provided initially. The kitchen is rather small but cosy, and we liked it. Still, the tidiness could do with a little refining. The under-sink cabinet sometimes sits in such a way that the washing machine makes it almost impossible to open the door and reach the bin, so the cabinet needs constant nudging back and forth. Everything else is fine. It’s a highly characterful place.
