    Nice apartment in Ribeira Grande.

    The apartment is very spacious and beautiful. Communication with the hosts was good. They gave us all sorts of recommendations and were always available. We had a minor accident where a bedside lamp broke, but we didn't have to pay for it. Everything was clean, new, and functional. It's well located for visiting the north of the island, and the beach is very beautiful, although swimming is difficult because there are always waves.

    Some cats live on the property, and at night they would meow (they were in heat) and wake you up. The garden is their territory, and it was annoying to be outside with the cats around, begging for food or attention. If you like cats, it won't be a problem for you. Some additional shelving in the bathroom would be appreciated. The terrace area was a bit dirty.

    The apartment was well-maintained and spacious. We really loved the location — it was peaceful and in the countryside, yet still close to Santa Barbara Beach.
