    Great location, comfy beds and really convenient to see all the sights

    The property was so close to the sassi area and only 5 min walk from the car park so really easy access and lots of lovely restaurants and cafe’s nearby

    A step back in time experiencing a cave house

    Property is centrally located. There are about 15 stairs to the apartment from the upper street. That is matera. Stairs everywhere. There are 2 steep stairs inside to the bedroom. The property is unique. Carved into the hillside.

    Stove played up . Left burner kept coming up E5. Told owner and was told they would replace the stove. We were leaving the next day so it didn’t happen while we were there. Otherwise everything else was good.

    Wonderful cave apartment

    We stayed in Matera in a wonderful cave apartment and were truly thrilled with our choice. It offers absolute comfort, good taste, and everything you could need, you feel "at home" from the first moment, or even a little more spoiled, in places 😀. Since we arrived by rental car from Bari, we parked conveniently at the Parcheggio Comunale Via Vena parking garage, and from there, it was just a quick and easy walk into the ZTL area to our place. An amazing experience, highly recommended to everyone.
