    A fair cottage in a stunning location. Worth it just for that.

    Set in a stunning landscape, with the most amazing walking from the door, the property was fine, but lacked some fine details and was in need of some simple TLC

    There were lots of small niggles. The Wi-Fi was very slow, and sometimes crashed. I was using the property as a writing residence, coupled with walking so this was important to me. Pans were old. The bathroom door didn’t shut, and there was no shower mat.

    Warm & cosy stay with stunning scenery.

    Location to Scafell walks, plus stunning scenery Easy Parking Warm and cosy apartment after a days walking / site seeing

    Bed sheets and pillows were a bit itchy but that might be because we are used to white cotton sheets. Travelling to other parts of the Lake District i.e. Ambleside etc was further than anticipated (going either way round) Everything seems to be owned by National Trust (monopoly on parking)

    Short stay at the heart of Wasdale, too short.

    We consider ourselves lucky to get the reservation. Just a step away from Wast Water and surrounding mountains. In the morning, just leave the house and all day you are in the nature. We did not miss any feature in the apartment. Very well equipped. Perfect.

    We travelled up purely to climb scafell pike so the location was perfect for that. Instructions for check in and check out were simple and everything was so comfy probably one of the best beds I’ve slept on in an Airbnb

    We had a slight issue on arrival but we contacted the hosts who despite the fact they were on holiday themselves went above and beyond to sort it out and we were so so grateful
