Very family oriented and not really geared towards couples

The overall apartment was smaller than I expected. There was only one bedroom, but it had (2) twin beds and (1) set of bunk beds. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean - but there was no place to plug in a hair dryer other than in the living room area! How absurd! There wasn't a power outlet near a mirror outside the bathroom, so I was forced to use the outlet that was behind the couch! This was incredibly inconvenient! Scotland doesn't allow hairdryers inside their bathrooms, so you would think that a hotel would accommodate their guests and put an outlet near the full-length mirror that is in the hallway - that would have been perfect, but they didn't. Luckily, I didn't have to worry about how I looked as we were going mountain carting down Cairngorm Mountain and then heading off to drive ATVs ("quad trekking"), and since it was raining and I'd be wearing a helmet all day, I just dried my hair and pulled in back. Scandinavian Village, PLEASE put outlets in places with guests in mind!! If you are planning on staying here, make sure you bring a make-up mirror as the lighting in the bathroom puts shadows on your face. Additionally, we booked (2) rooms 6 months in advance for (4) adults (2 couples) and we requested the rooms be together. While the rooms were in the same grouping of buildings, we were on the top floor in the corner and the other couple was on the first floor in another building. It was very inconvenient when trying to communicate and make plans. There were other issues that made finding our rooms difficult as they do not have a front desk, you have to either call, text or email someone whenever you have questions. The code to get into the room is sent to you via WhatsApp and I didn't have that, so they sent me the code via email (thank you, ERIKA!!) which I appreciated, but then we drove around for 15 minutes trying to find our building and then locate our rooms.
