Perfect cosy, country retreat, excellent staff and food.

We had such a lovely stay at Scarborough Hill Country House Hotel. James, the manager, and all the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really well looked after throughout our stay. It’s genuinely very dog-friendly too. Our dog was thoroughly spoilt, with her own Jules bed and complimentary treats, which was such a lovely touch. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great buffet selection and a proper home-cooked breakfast. We also ate there in the evening and the food was excellent. There were lots of little extras too, including complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. The hotel itself is beautiful, warm and cosy, and very tastefully decorated. We thought it was worth every penny and would definitely stay again. We really can’t recommend James, his team and Scarborough Hill Country House Hotel highly enough.

The WiFi was quite slow by today's standards. The bath/shower drain was blocked, so James moved us to another room immediately.
