older, spacious house
an older house with plenty of space in a secluded location with fantastic views of the bay, a charming garden, a huge terrace, and absolutely everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, towels, bathtub, washing machine, drying rack, a huge refrigerator with freezer, various insect sprays, a tv, grill, beach mats, a parasol, etc. the landlady lives in the basement, quickly resolves any problems, and always offers local delicacies or vegetables from her garden in front of the house. beaches, restaurants, and buses to Dubrovnik, a shopping center with a pharmacy, supermarket, drugstores, and toy stores are within walking distance.
the entire house has only one air condition which is in the living room and also cools the kitchen. all bedrooms have only small fans. the windows and doors do not have mosquito nets and, according to the information given, should remain closed to keep out all kinds of insects and vermin, which does not always work. the bathroom sink sometimes smelled of feces. the neighbour house has a pool, and depending on the number of guests, it can get louder. the driveway is extremely steep and, typical of the south, very narrow. unsuitable for people with disabilities and unexperienced drivers. oncoming traffic and the parking lot in front of the house are a challenge. the landlady kindly provided us with a parking space at the end of the street.

The property has absolutely everything you need, from personal hygiene to kitchen supplies, also we were welcomed with bottle of wine and some snacks and fruits! Jelka was a incredibly friendly host and treated us with some delicious homemade snacks and cheese. Tv had a stereo system and Netflix, cute little garden with some local fruits.
