A comfortable stay in a great location, with some small issues that may be resolved quickly.
The hotel itself is a beautiful renovation of an old school building. I actually attended a couple of years of elementary school there a long time ago so it was fun to see. We stayed in the nearby apartment (646) which was not attached. It was a beautiful, light space on two floors. Comfy bed, excellent shower. Tons of space with two bedrooms. A huge television. The location is wonderful; across the street from the Memorial Art Gallery and steps from good restaurants and a fun coffee shop.
There were several small logistical issues with the apartment which were frustrating. The toilet ran perpetually until we opened the tank (after each flush) and adjusted the parts. When I called, the staff immediately sent someone out who worked on it but they didn't tell us the solution was then to push the handle back up so we didn't know it was fixed. We ran out of toilet paper in the room because it had not been restocked and I had to call a couple of times in the middle of the night to get more. The smoke detector battery had been removed and the unit hung open from the ceiling. The toilet lid was blocked from fully lifting by the counter behind it, and my husband reported that this made using the toilet from a standing position very challenging. We could have used an extra blanket and there were none in the unit.
