    Special friendly stay

    Liked everything. Host Cathy is the friendliest person, full of bright chat. Comfy bed. Sofas in lounge spectacular and lovely social area. We will be back.

    Welcoming, cosy and comfortable

    Cathy our host was wonderfully welcoming, the room was simple but spacious and comfortable, the living room with the fire was lovely and cosy. Delicious breakfast. Being 5 mins walk from town centre was a big bonus.

    Ballater is beautiful and Cathy warmly received us. Her hospitality was superb. We highly recommend the schoolhouse.
