  An exceptional heritage escape!

  Our stay at the Scottish Planter Bungalow was a sublime step back in time. Tucked away within a lush tea estate, the heritage charm is perfectly matched by truly amazing hospitality; the staff ensured every moment was effortless. The food was consistently superb, offering a wonderful taste of local and classic flavors. A particular highlight was hiking through the plantation; the atmospheric blend of mist, soft rain, and verdant hills made for a quintessentially Nuwara Eliya experience. A perfect sanctuary of nature and refinement.

  Exceptional Service, Beautiful Location — Highly Recommend!

  Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Scottish planter bungalow! The location is excellent, and the hospitality was truly outstanding — from the breakfast spread to the way every meal was served, it genuinely felt like being taken care of at home. A huge thank you to Manu, the chief caretaker/manager, who went above and beyond, along with Shashi and the rest of the team — including Kapil and a few others whose names I’m forgetting (Tamil Sir)— everyone was incredibly helpful and warm throughout our stay. If I had to nitpick one thing, the last kilometer of the road leading to the bungalow is a bit bumpy — but that’s clearly outside the property’s control and didn’t take away from the experience at all. This is a fantastic place for a family trip — my kids absolutely loved it, and we’d love to come back. Thank you, Manu, Shashi, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

  A Gem Among the Tea Estate Bunglows!! Our family of three spent a night at Glendevon Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya (October 16-17), and we only wish it had been longer. The location is unmatched, set in the midst of rolling tea estates. The 140-plus-year-old bungalow is maintained impeccably, with3 all the character of its heritage intact. We stayed in the Stewart Suite, which was perfect for our family of three and could easily have accommodated one more. What truly made the stay special was the people. The property manager, Mr. Manushanaka, along with Mr. Morgan (Mohan) , Mr. Duminda , chef Mr Jk8lĺĺĺĺ7lnlpand our driver, Mr. Dhyaneshwar, took excellent care of us throughout. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being among family. The high tea, the dinner, and the next morning's breakfast were all impeccable. We left already planning our return, hoping to spend a much longer stay here. Glen Devon is a true gem and not to be missed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  It’s so peaceful, and the staff were wonderful. Morgan is the fourth generation from his family working there, and he took us on a walk around the hills nearby (and got us back before the rain!) The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the lounge and rooms really comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna too.

  非常具体历史感，在经过一段崎岖的山路后，都被自己订的酒店产生了怀疑，到达之后意外之喜，服务非常贴心，超出预期的好。安排的下午茶晚餐和早餐都很好吃。

  一次性用品较简陋，、浴巾等建议更换一下新的。
