There are much nicer places to stay in Eagle Bay/Dunsborough.
The property is a short walk from the beach.
This is a very basic, no-frills property. Very bare in reality. We stayed here with our two children on a short family holiday. We stayed in October and the house was very cold. A bad, cooked-meat, fatty smell greeted us on entering the property which lingered on.. There are a lot of external dilapidations - flyscreens with holes, a sliding screen door onto the BBQ patio that was jammed and could not close, another sliding door which could not be locked and needed a floorbolt to secure it, cobwebs in the window screens, dirty cloudy windows and a clothesline where the lines kept falling out due to age. The verandah and patio had not been swept and were full of leaves and some litter. A car twice stopped in front of the property during the four days we spent there and the driver spent several minutes staring in at the property - we felt we were being watched and it made us uneasy. We subsequently learnt from the holiday home provider that manages the property that the owner lives behind the property - not sure if this fact was connected to this occurrence. The property has a good location but the bareness, coldness and dilapidations made it feel bleak.

Incredible location, no fuss accomodation with all the basics for a great family stay!
The location was amazing and the property had all the basic amenities you would need for a family holiday.
We had issues with the hot water system. The showers were never hot and a few times cold. It wasn’t so bad as our stay was in summer but not great for our older parents who came with us. Also no aircon on bedrooms side of house but fans provided. The first night was so warm and the rooms were very hot. All in all, the location and price point of the property, we would come back!
