Overall was an ok stay the location and the view are definitely worth. The host was very responsive and friendly.
The location was great. Walkable distance to everything. Private parching on site. Very clean and furnished.
We were assigned to the Mermaid room on the second floor. Been quite and respectful to the other guests seems to be a must but honestly the room itself was pretty much noisy with squeaky floors and bed. Also, the outside can use extra lights pointing the stairs going down.

Location and breakfast
Hardly saw anyone from the place and room close to the laundry room could hear the washing machine in the room.

Basically, a nice, well-kept bed-and-breakfast.
View of the harbor; closeness to downtown. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to restaurants and the shoreside park where there is a monument at Mile 0 of the original Iditarod. We had a view of the water from our room, and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. The kitchen was well stocked with fruit, eggs, pastries, juices and coffee. There is even loaner canisters of bear spray for those who plan to hike in the areas outside of town. Wildlife is plentiful in town (a moose walked down the street a block away), out of town (more moose, snowshoe hares, lots of birds), and in the water (a pair of humpback whales would surface regularly and could be seen from the park). Highly recommended, and we plan to visit again.
