A relaxing comfortable stay
Love the expansive view from the deck and the in door living area. The up to date fixtures and cleanliness of the property. Jane our host was super helpful and friendly. We would recommend this property to friends and family.

Peaceful, quiet, beautiful views, great place to rest and relax. Btw WiFi and Netflix worked.
Beautiful views, friendly considerate hosts ensured I had what I needed. Quiet location a few km from town (not walkable to shops), lots of Tui and other birds singing. Nice deck, floor-to-ceiling windows, barely heard the owners upstairs (a few rare footsteps). Felt like my own place. I recommend the short boat ride to Urupukapuka Island. Beautiful peaceful place with many tracks for tramping, great views. Also Waitangi is interesting. The cultural and historical presentations are worthwhile and the museum is informative.
Might’ve been nice to be more walkable (there is one vineyard/pizza restaurant about 2km away) but then you wouldn’t have the quiet, the native trees, the singing birds, the spectacular views. But town is only a 10 minute drive and I think there’s a passenger ferry to Paihia also. So I won’t say I didn’t like that about it. It was what I was looking for. I was very happy with the place.
