Very disappointing. We believe the property failed to match the description as advertised.
The extension to a very old property was to a good standard with all required equipment.
The original property is a run down end terrace in a run down area of Reydon (not at Southwold as was advertised). The tiny carpark spce at the rear of the property was a challenge to use. We arrived on a chilly evening to find we had to contact the agents who would contact the owners in order to get some heating - this could only be done the following day because the office had closed. There are no bathroom facilities on the second floor. This was the location of the second double bedroom. The coastline could only be viewed from this floor. The property smelt of dogs.

Comfort, location, vibe, Brilliant!
The best thing about this property is the decor. It's beautifully thought through with lots of interesting and quirky items. It's a coastal theme, which is what you might expect for the location, but it is so well done. Even the thick rope banister to the top floor and the "sail" blinds to the window. All the rooms have comfortable and practical furniture and the facilities provided are excellent. We stayed as a couple but we like having our own rooms, so there was even a room to spare! We stayed during a heatwave and the top floor was very warm, but a very good quality/quiet fan had been provided so that helped. There is an excellent small supermarket on the corner and this was perfect for picking up both essentials and some luxuries. Their fresh fruit is excellent! The location is ideal if you want to walk into Southwold. It takes 10/15 minutes.
Seagull noise is a nuisance at times (not all the time) but if you stay by the coast that's almost always the case.
