First renovate, clean thoroughly and then rent
The location near by the sea
The house is very old as well as the furniture. The drain in the kitchen was clogged so it was unpleasant to eat at the place. It took more than a day to come to fix it, which didn’t work, so no kitchen sink during 3 days… They said there was a bbq…but we didn’t find it. Maybe it was between all the mess in the cellar (really, what a mess!!) and stinking too (mold all over the place). There is a new bathroom in the cellar, but practically you can only reach it via the “garden”. The inner stairs are too steep & dangerous. When we checked in the washing machine was full of soaked wet laundry. When we sent a message to the owner, he reacted like it was normal that we spinned it dry and then put it in the drying machine… a hell of a noice btw! Oh yeah, you can rent a SUP-board, but the paddle and the leash are broken. The owners aren’t really tidy (is the least you can say).Their dirty shoes & clothes are in the hallway…and you feel like an intruder with so much personal stuff (not only clothes but also too much photo’s of there children…). There was no coffee. And there is a terrace with a view on the sea…but there’s no table…! You’re jealous of the neighbour’s house when you see what they provided. We rented 4 houses at the Faroe islands, but this was by far the worst (and the only disappointment during the 12 days).

Something different than other houses
It was something different than casual Booking appartment or Airbnb :) we enjoyed it and would come again. The view from the house is beautiful.
There are some small details which could be improved. For instance, the bathroom is a bit outdated. But we came to enjoy our vacation and not to complain, so at the end we were happy :)
