    We were disappointed

    The property opens to the alley where the shops are. It’s very close to the ferry.

    Due to summer heat, cross ventilation required open doors to alley and windows. Unfortunately, the street noise from the restaurants and bars , along with street cleaners and garbage collection was very noisy. There were 3 fans to help with circulation, but sleeping was very difficult.There was also an end of summer celebration that had fireworks, drumming bands and bands from the bars that played till 2am. The police also had to react to alarms going off for the downstairs neighbor. We ended our stay early and went to another hotel that had AC and a quieter location.

    Bellissimo!

    L’appartamento è spazioso, pulito e accogliente, con una posizione davvero strategica e vista sul mare. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche le piccole attenzioni all’arrivo, come la bottiglia d’acqua fresca e le capsule per il caffè. A disposizione c’erano inoltre asciugamani, stoviglie, lavatrice, lavastoviglie e tutto il necessario per stendere la biancheria: davvero comodo e completo.

    L’unico aspetto meno positivo è stato il caldo: con queste temperature, purtroppo, i ventilatori messi a disposizione non erano sufficienti a rinfrescare l’appartamento. Comprendo che, per motivi legati ai vincoli paesaggistici, non sia possibile installare un climatizzatore esterno, ma credo sia necessaria un’alternativa per rendere il soggiorno più confortevole, alla quale credo che la proprietaria stia già provvedendo.

    The lack of air conditioning made the night very unpleasant. You have to keep the windows open because of the heat, but there is a lot of noise until midnight, and then it starts again at 5 a.m. with the garbage trucks. Too bad because the apartment in itself is great.

    A wonderful apartment in a wonderful town

    The location is really amazing, a 2 min walk from the dock and It’s restaurants

    It just needs a stronger fan for when the weather is hot!
