We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very comfortable. We slept very well in the bed. For us, the location to everything was perfect. 5 minutes to the most fabulous beach and 10 minutes to the centre of Alvor. Supermarket and a nice selection of restaurants very close by. We recommend the Italian in the next complex (on the way to the supermarket) and the Japanese restaurant in the next block on the same route...both 5 minutes walk away. Air-conditioning in both kitchen and bedroom was very welcome at night. Yes, there is noise from the road outside. You dont hear it once the doors are closed. Its much quieter at night if you want to sit out with a drink. Pool area is also lovely. Overall, a great place for a switch off holiday.
