    Die Gastgeber, Duncan und Amanda, sind sehr nett und unterstützend. Sie haben den Bunker (übrigens wirklich ein ehemaliger Bunker, also souterrain), sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Bei heißem Wetter ist es bestimmt super, in der kühlen Wohnung zu sein. Man kann sich gut ein Frühstück machen, Toaster, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher sind vorhanden. Es war schön, die Terrasse nutzen zu können. Man kann gut zu Fuß in die kleine Altstadt laufen. Der Parkplatz direkt in der Nähe ist auch prima. Duncan schickt kurz vor der Anreise ein Video, so dass man auch ohne Probleme ankommt.

    Wer richtig kochen will, ist im Bunker nicht so gut aufgehoben, es gibt nur eine Mikrowelle. Auch, dass das Spülbecken gleichzeitig das Waschbecken im Bad ist, geht zwar für ein paar Tage, ist aber suboptimal.

    Great two nights away in Bury st Edmunds

    Good facilities. Coffee, tea supplied. Towels, hairdryer. TV WiFi. All good. Local to supermarket and not far to walk to the lovely town centre.

    Duncan was very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to train station and about a 15 walk into town.

    Close to train station and easy walk to downtown.

    Not a negative for us, but if you don’t handle stairs well, this may not be a good fit for you.
